It was the end of the day,
we stood silently in the halls.
I gave a weakened look.
You gave a frown.
"You still have time to catch up with him you know."
I spoke portraying a fake smile.

You took a step forward,
then stopped
"I don't want to go if you're not skipping-"
I interrupted you
"I'll be okay, go, it's fine."
I waved bye slightly.
You followed confused,
and indecisive.

I don't know why, but I have train noises stuck in my head. It's probably the little elves that live up there attempting to turn the wheels of my brain due to lack of sleep. Bah. I've been in the car all day and my butt feels like it will be a while to recover.

Meh, whenever I get around to it.
